HELSINKI (Reuters) - The worlds top cell phone maker, Nokia (NOK1V.HE), said on Monday it would launch its Nokia 6650 model exclusively to Deutsche Telekoms (DTEGn.DE) T-Mobile clients.
German magazine Wirtschaftswoche reported over the weekend that T-Mobile would cut offeringS of Nokia handsets which will be able to the cell phone makers upcoming Ovi mobile internet service as it would compete with T-Mobiles own content service.
The new model, with an integrated GPS positioning chip, will be available from T-Mobile during the third quarter of 2008, the company said in a statement.
