TOKYO (Reuters) - Japans Toshiba Corp (6502.T) will announce plans to cease production and sales of HD DVD players on Tuesday, the Nikkei business daily said.
Toshiba, the worlds No.2 maker of NAND flash memory, will also announce plans to build new NAND factories in a bid to overtake South Koreas Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (005930.KS), the paper said.
